Conversion Tracking & Analytics
Conversion tracking & analytics · Canada & United States
Make your advertising data more useful for business decisions. We review how Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, GA4, and available CRM data represent inquiries, purchases, and qualified opportunities.
A conversion should mean something to the business
Form submissions, calls, and purchases do not all carry the same value. Duplicate events, unsuitable primary goals, or missing lead-quality feedback can distort performance reporting and bidding. The work starts by defining what you need to measure and how the current setup behaves.
Common problems we investigate
Duplicate or inflated conversions
A single action may be recorded more than once, or low-value activity may be treated as a business outcome.
Missing form or call events
Important inquiries may not be recorded consistently across the website, analytics, and advertising platforms.
Platform and CRM disagreement
Ad-platform totals may not align with qualified leads, sales feedback, or the reports your team uses.
Unclear purchase value
Ecommerce events may need closer inspection of transaction identifiers, values, currency, and how revenue is reported.
What the work can include
- An inventory of current conversion actions, tags, and reporting goals.
- Review of GA4 events and Google Ads or Microsoft Ads conversion setup.
- Form, call, and purchase-event checks using agreed test scenarios.
- Primary and secondary conversion-goal recommendations.
- Assessment of enhanced conversions and CRM or qualified-lead feedback where appropriate.
- Documentation of the implemented setup, validation results, and known limitations.
Implementation depends on your website, consent setup, CRM, and access. Required tools, platform limitations, and any additional costs are discussed before work begins.
How validation works
We trace the agreed action from the website to its reporting destination, check for missing or duplicate events, and compare the result with the intended measurement plan. Consent choices, attribution models, processing delays, and platform definitions can cause differences between reports; validation should explain those differences rather than promise identical totals.
Connect measurement to the next decision
Tracking work should support a practical decision: which leads to optimize for, where budget belongs, or whether a campaign is ready to scale. It can be a standalone engagement or part of Google Ads management, Microsoft Ads management, or a broader PPC audit.
Questions before we start
Can you fix tracking without taking over campaign management?
Yes. A separate measurement scope can cover diagnosis, implementation, and validation. We agree which systems and conversion actions are included.
Can you connect advertising to qualified leads?
Where the CRM, consent arrangements, and available data support it, the scope can include qualified-lead signals and feedback. We first assess how leads are captured and classified.
Will GA4 and advertising-platform totals match exactly?
Not necessarily. Attribution, counting rules, consent, time zones, and processing can differ. We investigate implementation errors and explain the remaining reporting differences.
Do we need server-side tracking?
Not every account does. The measurement problem, technical environment, data requirements, and ongoing maintenance should guide that decision.
